Ti-55 is known as industrial pure titanium. Titanium alloys are mainly used to make compressor components for aircraft engines, followed by structural parts for rockets, missiles and high-speed aircraft. Titanium and its alloys have been applied in industry, being used to make electrodes for the electrolytic industry, condensers for power stations, heaters for oil refining and seawater desalination, as well as environmental pollution control devices, etc. Titanium and its alloys have become corrosion-resistant structural materials. In addition, it is also used in the production of hydrogen storage materials and shape memory alloys, etc. Titanium is a new type of metal. The properties of titanium are related to the content of impurities such as carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen and oxygen it contains. The impurity content of titanium iodide does not exceed 0.1%, but it has low strength and high plasticity. At present, TA2 is widely used. Due to its high strength and ease of design, it not only enhances the heat exchange effect but also saves costs.
The density of titanium alloy is 4.54g/cm³.
