Udimet R41 is a precipitation-hardened nickel-chromium alloy containing high concentrations of cobalt and molybdenum, along with small amounts of aluminum and titanium. This alloy demonstrates exceptional mechanical performance at both room temperature and elevated temperatures. Its superior corrosion resistance and machinability make it widely used in critical aircraft engine components such as nozzle vanes, turbine blades and wheels, combustion chamber liners, and structural hardware.
The density of the alloy is ρ=8.25g/cm³.
