Nimonic PE11 is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy developed through precipitation hardening of titanium and aluminum, combined with solid solution strengthening via molybdenum. This high-strength sheet metal alloy is engineered for service temperatures up to 1020℃ (550°F). Its high iron content ensures excellent machinability while delivering superior tensile toughness, particularly after welding. The material is extensively used in components for gas turbine applications.
The density of the alloy is ρ=8.02g/cm³.
