Nimonic 115 alloy is a nickel-molybdenum-cobalt-based alloy reinforced with molybdenum, aluminum, and titanium. It was developed as a creep-resistant alloy for use in aircraft gas turbine blades operating at temperatures up to approximately 1010℃.
Nimonic 115 alloy can be used for forged bars and rods, as well as extruded and cold-worked parts for direct processing of turbine blades. Other forms can be produced on special order.
The density of the alloy is ρ=7.85g/cm³.
