Udimet L-605 is a solid solution-strengthened cobalt-chromium-tungsten-nickel alloy that delivers exceptional high-temperature strength and 2000°F (1093℃) oxidation resistance. The alloy also exhibits excellent anti-sulfidation properties and wear resistance. Suitable for gas turbine applications including ring components, blades, and combustion chamber parts (sheet metal manufacturing), it is also applicable in industrial furnace systems such as furnace hoods or linings in high-temperature kilns.
The density of the alloy is ρ=9.27g/cm³.
