HastelloyX is a high-iron nickel-based superalloy primarily strengthened through chromium and molybdenum solid solution strengthening. It exhibits excellent oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, demonstrating moderate durability and creep strength below 900℃ while maintaining good cold/hot workability and weldability. This material is used in manufacturing combustion chamber components and other high-temperature parts for aviation engines, designed for long-term service at temperatures below 900℃ with short-term operational temperatures reaching up to 1080℃.
The main product categories include plates, strips, pipes, bars, forgings, rings, and precision castings. HastelloyX product specifications and availability: δ0.5~4.0mm-plate materials, δ0.05~0.8mm-strip materials, pipes with outer diameters of 4-20mm and wall thicknesses of 1.0~2.0mm, welding wires with diameters up to 0.2~10.0mm, bars with diameters ≤300mm, ring components in various diameters and wall thicknesses, as well as precision castings of different shapes and sizes. Plates, strips, and pipes are supplied after solution treatment and pickling; strips may also be delivered in cold-rolled condition. Welding wires are available in hard state, semi-hard state, solidified-solution treated with pickling, or bright solution-treated coils, or as straight bars. Bars and rings are delivered without heat treatment. Precision castings are supplied in their cast state.
