GH3044 alloy is a Ni-Cr-W solid solution strengthened nickel-based superalloy. With its excellent thermal strength, ductility, and oxidation resistance, it is suitable for manufacturing long-term service components such as engine flame tubes, fish-scale plates, combustion chamber parts, gas turbine high-temperature components, and guide vanes. The alloy contains 36.5%-42.5% W and Cr, which provides strong solid solution strengthening effects. Cr primarily enhances the alloy’s high-temperature oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance, while refractory metals like W and Mo mainly strengthen the alloy and reduce stacking faults. Carbon-nitrogen compounds formed by Cr, W, and Ti reinforce grain boundaries, further improving the alloy’s high-temperature strength and creep resistance.
The density of GH3044 is ρ=8.89 g/cm².
