Udimet R41 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy containing large amounts of cobalt and molybdenum, as well as small amounts of aluminum and titanium. Alloy R41 possesses extremely high mechanical properties at both room temperature and high temperatures. Its excellent corrosion resistance and processability make it widely used in key aircraft engine components, such as nozzle separators, turbine blades and wheels, combustion chamber linings and structural hardware.
The density of this alloy is ρ=8.25g/cm³.
