GH3536 alloy, also known as HastelloyX alloy, is a nickel-based superalloy with a relatively high iron content. This alloy is mainly strengthened by solid solution of molybdenum and chromium elements and has moderate creep fracture strength and good oxidation resistance below 900℃. The density of GH3536 alloy is relatively low, only 8.29g/cm³. For the aviation engine manufacturing industry that constantly pursues a high thrust-to-weight ratio, the application of GH3536 alloy can effectively reduce the self-weight of the engine. In addition, this alloy also features excellent comprehensive mechanical properties and outstanding high-temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance. It can be used to prepare components of the combustion chamber of aero engines that serve for a long time at temperatures below 900℃, as well as other parts that operate in high-temperature environments. At present, GH3536 alloy is often used to manufacture important aviation components such as fuel nozzles and engine casings.
