Inconel 751 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium alloy, mainly used in the exhaust valves of internal combustion engines. This alloy basically has the same excellent physical, mechanical and corrosion resistance properties as Inconel X-750.
In the evaluation of the application materials for exhaust valves, alloy 751 performed outstandingly in the lead oxide screening test at 1675°F(913 ° C). Inconel 751 provided good results on multiple occasions, with an average corrosion rate of 4.31 grams per square decimeter per hour. Like other nickel-chromium alloys, Inconel 751 is also resistant to erosion by other exhaust flow impurities such as sulfur, bromine and chlorine.

The density of this alloy is ρ=8.22g/cm³.
