Inconel693 is a new special metal alloy that offers high-temperature corrosion resistance, a feature that previous nickel-based alloys did not have. Inconel693 has the best resistance to metal dust among any conventional alloys currently manufactured in chemical and petrochemical processing environments. Inconel693 typically contains 60.5% nickel, 29% chromium and 3.1% aluminum. Like its predecessor, INCONEL690 alloy, the high chromium content of this alloy endows it with excellent oxidation resistance and sulfidation resistance. However, adding 3.1% aluminium to 693 alloy also significantly enhanced the alloy’s resistance to other forms of high-temperature corrosion.

The density of this alloy is ρ=7.77g/cm³.
