Haynes230 is a Ni-Cr-based solid solution strengthened deformable superalloy, with a service temperature range of 700°C to 1050°C. The alloy features high strength and resistance to thermal fatigue, with a stable microstructure. Alloys possess excellent heat resistance, corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, making them suitable for manufacturing parts such as flame tubes for aero engines. The main products include cold-rolled plates and strips.
Nickel-based superalloy Haynes230 is a new generation of Ni-Cr-based solid solution strengthened deformable superalloy newly developed in China. It has a simple chemical composition and features high strength, weldability, and oxidation resistance. Currently, it is used as a component material for a certain type of domestic engine under development. Haynes230 alloy is mainly applied in the mixer section of the combustion chamber of the new generation of engines in China. For different working conditions, the mixer part has different temperatures and is subjected to different stresses. Various stresses result in different strain rates. The rotational speeds and temperatures corresponding to each working state of the engine are also different. In addition, the strain rates of materials in different parts of the engine vary with different rotational speeds. Different strain rates and temperatures also have different effects on the mechanical behavior of high-temperature materials. Therefore, it is necessary to study the mechanical behavior of Haynes230 alloy used in engines at different strain rates.
