Nimonic 115 alloy is a nickel-cobalt-based alloy strengthened by adding molybdenum, aluminum and titanium. It was developed as a creep-resistant alloy for operation at temperatures up to approximately 1010℃, serving as turbine blades for aircraft gas turbines.
Nimonic 115 alloy can be used for forging rods and bars, as well as for the extruded and cold working parts of turbine blades that are directly processed. Other forms can be produced according to special orders.
The density of this alloy is ρ=7.85g/cm³.
