Incoloy A-286 alloy steel (also known as A286, UNSS66286) is a nickel-based superalloy with a base composition of Fe-25Ni-15Cr. It achieves comprehensive strengthening by adding molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, vanadium, and trace amounts of boron, and complies with ASTM technical standards. This alloy is mainly used in the manufacturing of high-temperature load-bearing components for aircraft engines that operate at temperatures below 650°C for long periods, such as turbine discs, rotor blades, and fasteners.
Its properties include high yield strength, creep rupture strength, and good formability and weldability, allowing it to be processed into various forms such as discs, forgings, plates, bars, and wires. The heat treatment process is adjusted according to the material type, with common methods including 900°C oil quenching + 750°C air cooling or 980-1000°C oil quenching + 700-720°C air cooling, among others. The product forms include seamless tubes, plates, round bars, and forgings, and the delivery states include solution acid white and cold-rolled solution soft, catering to different industrial processing requirements.
