High-permeability iron-nickel alloy, featuring a high initial permeability.
Application: It is used to manufacture various transformer cores, mutual inductors, magnetic amplifiers, choke cores and magnetic shields that operate in weak magnetic fields.
The density of this alloy is ρ=8.75g/cm³.
The product varieties are: cold-rolled strip, cold-rolled plate, cold-drawn wire, cold-drawn (rolled) tube, hot-rolled (forged) flat, wire rod, and hot-rolled (forged) bar.
