Inconel693 is a novel special metal alloy that provides high-temperature corrosion resistance—an advantage not previously achieved by nickel-based alloys. Inconel693 demonstrates the best resistance to metal dust in chemical and petrochemical processing environments among all conventional alloys currently manufactured. The alloy typically contains 60.5% nickel, 29% chromium, and 3.1% aluminum. Like its predecessor INCONEL690 alloy, the high chromium content of Inconel693 ensures excellent oxidation resistance and anti-sulfidation properties. However, the addition of 3.1% aluminum significantly enhances the alloy’s resistance to other forms of high-temperature corrosion.
The density of the alloy is ρ=7.77g/cm³.
