Iron-nickel alloy has a high magnetic permeability and a high saturation magnetic induction intensity.
Application: To make the cores of various transformers, relays and electromagnetic clutches that operate in a medium magnetic field.
The density of this alloy is ρ=8.20g/cm³.
The product varieties are: cold-rolled strip, cold-drawn wire, cold-drawn (rolled) tube, hot-rolled (forged) flat, wire rod, and hot-rolled (forged) bar.
