Nimonic263 alloy is an air-molten nickel-based alloy used to provide easy-to-machine sheet materials and offer improved toughness in welded components, replacing Nimonic80A alloy.
It is designed as a sheet to meet specific design standards, such as tensile strength and creep strength. All standard forms are now available.
The welding technique for this alloy is similar to that commonly used for other age-hardening nickel-based alloys. In rescue welding operations, pre-welding heat treatment is not required for age-hardened components. However, it is advisable to carry out subsequent age-hardening treatment after all rescue welds have been completed. If the temperature exceeds 750℃, the material will age during service.

The density of this alloy is ρ=8.36g/cm³.
