Nimonic 105 alloy is a forged nickel-cobalt-chromium-based alloy strengthened by adding molybdenum, aluminum and titanium. It has been developed for service up to 950℃, combining the high strength and excellent creep resistance of age-hardening nickel-based alloys.
Nimonic 105 alloy is produced by high-frequency melting in air and then air casting. For more critical applications, the alloy is produced through vacuum melting and electroslag refining.
This alloy is used for turbine blades, discs, forgings, ring sections, bolts and fasteners.

The density of this alloy is ρ=8.01g/cm³.
